Coleman had already conquered Broadway, writing songs for such
smash hit shows as WILDCAT (“Hey, Look Me Over!”), LITTLE ME (“I’ve
Got Your Number”), SWEET CHARTITY (“If My Friends Could See Me
Now”), THE WILL ROGERS FOLLIES (“Never Met a Man I didn’t Like”),
CITY OF ANGELS (“You Can Always Count On Me”) and THE LIFE (“People
Magazine”). For almost 50 years, Cy Coleman remained Broadway’s
coolest “Broadway Baby” who proved – once and for all – that “It’s
