Lissen Ellington


Lissen is a native of South Florida. She discovered her love of performing at the age of three when she sang for the first time and hasn’t stopped. She graduated from the Dreyfoos School of the Arts with a focus in Musical Theatre and Costuming. She went on to graduate from Florida State University with a BS in Sports Management-Business Track, Palm Beach State College in Marketing, and from Northwood University with a Master’s in Business Administration with a focus in Management and Leadership. Lissen has been seen all around the state performing with a number of professional theatre companies. In 2019, she had the privilege of studying and performing at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London. She is also an EMC candidate with Actor’s Equity. Lissen is currently an award-winning theatre educator with the School District of Palm Beach County where she focuses on musical theatre, tech theatre, acting, improv, and theatre history. When not on stage or in the classroom, Lissen can be found running Disney marathons or volunteering around town with The Junior League of the Palm Beaches and other non-profits.
