Marc Streeter

MARC STREETER first trod The Delray Beach Playhouse boards in 1985, starring in the hit musical, I DO! I DO! Since then, he has appeared in nearly 40 productions at The Delray Beach Playhouse, 14 of which have earned him “Best Actor of the Year” Awards.

Many remember Marc best as the title character in D.B.P.’s seven holiday productions of Mr. Scrooge. Other leads include Henry in THE LION IN WINTER, Clarence in LIFE WITH FATHERCapt. Von Trapp in THE SOUND OF MUSICHarold Hill in THE MUSIC MANFagan in Oliver and Elyot in PRIVATE LIVES.

Marc received his formal theater training at the University of South Florida and appeared professionally in dinner theaters and regional playhouses, with leading roles in FUNNY GIRL, PETER PAN, KISS ME KATE, WHO’S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF?, HELLO DOLLY, THE THREEPENNY OPERA and SOMETHING’S AFOOT with Mary Jo Catlett from Broadway’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. 

Marc also was named “Best Actor in a Musical” for his roles as Tevye in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF and Georges in LA CAGE at the Lake Worth Playhouse. Marc was an Air Force Broadcast Journalist in Europe and is now an Associate Creative Director at Zimmerman Advertising in Ft. Lauderdale.
