With extraordinary vocals\, versatility and an engaging delivery\, Meri shares music spanning generations — from the jukebox to the boom box\, from 8-tracks in her Dad’s Buick Riviera to her children’s iPods\, from CDs to livestreams and more. Be among the first to experience live performances of newly released songs from her first album\, My Heart Beats\, alongside innovative arrangements of musical gems by Carolyn Leigh & Cy Coleman\, Don McLean\, Carole King\, Jimmy Eat World and Sara Bareilles!  \n \n  \nAbout Meri Ziev: \nAs soon as she could speak\, MERI ZIEV (she/her) began singing standards – back when they were pop songs! – along with the 8-tracks in her father’s Buick Riviera. With a brother who played in a rock & roll band\, and season tickets to the symphony while in high school\, Ziev shifted gears and went on to a career inspired by a hearing-impaired friend\, as a speech-language pathologist. Meri worked in every setting from hospitals to schools and discovered that her passion for promoting human connections through speech and language synthesizes perfectly with her life-long love of the universal language of music. Ziev glides through the worlds of cabaret\, jazz gigs\, and performing with the Pops Orchestra of the Palm Beaches\, singing everything from Pop to Country.  She has performed in NYC (Don’t Tell Mama\, The Laurie Beechman\, Pangea\, Birdland)\, Chicago (Davenports)\, St. Louis (Kranzberg Arts Center & Jazz at the Bistro)\, Sterling Events Center in Austin\, TX\, Paris\, France\, the Galapagos Islands\, and various venues in FL including The Arts Garage and The Delray Beach Playhouse. Meri provides hybrid performance-lectures\, cabaret-style shows and jazz entertainment for senior communities.  She performs from ‘Zoom to the Room\,’ around the world\, singing at cabaret venues\, jazz clubs\, condominiums\, galas\, and fundraisers\, in person\, online and poolside!  Meri is the President and Co-Founder of the South Florida Cabaret Singers community.
