It was then released to theaters in South Florida on March 17\, 2006 and wider on August 4\, playing in six states: New York\, New Jersey\, Connecticut\, Missouri\, Arizona and California. The film’s working title was The Boynton Beach Bereavement Club.  The musical\, based on the film of the same name\, previously had two small\, invitation-only readings in New York. A concert version titled Boynton Beach Club: A New Musical In Concert was presented in February 2012 at the Park Vista Theatre in Lake Worth\, FL\, featuring a seasoned cast. The full musical had its premiere at the Manatee Performing Arts Center in Florida\, running through early April 2017\, featuring a projection-heavy\, intimate production that highlighted the poignant and funny aspects of life after 50.  \n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
