No intermission – just 85 minutes straight of musical theater magic! \n\n\nAlways: the Love Story of Irving Berlin is a book musical in which Mark Nadler and KT Sullivan tell\, sing and reenact one of the Great American Love Stories. They put Irving Berlin’s music in service to the story\, weaving the composer’s songs in and out of the narrative according to their emotional content\, giving us the intimate story of a musical colossus. The two act evening features a zesty smorgasbord of Berlin tunes — many well known\, many rarely heard. Some are performed in their totality; others are woven into evocative medleys that punctuate dramatic arcs in Berlin’s life. This show is rich in American history as well as a deeply moving theatrical event. \n“KT Sullivan and Mark Nader are “Ferociously entertaining!”  – The New York Times. \n  \nAbout KT SULLIVAN:\nKT Sullivan became artistic director of The Mabel Mercer Foundation in March of 2012. She starred on Broadway in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and at Irish Rep in “Love\, Noël” with Steve Ross. For over two decades she headlined in the Oak Room of the Algonquin\, and now performs regularly in NYC at Birdland\, Don’t Tell Mama\, Pangea\, and at Crazy Coqs in London. Her show “Rhyme\, Women\, and Song” was filmed for PBS\, as well as her Sondheim Show with Jeff Harnar. She recorded six albums for DRG Records and was married for 22 years to Stephen Downey\, president of the Browning Society. \nAbout MARK NADLER:\nMark Nadler is an internationally acclaimed singer\, pianist\, and comedian. He’s won multiple MAC Awards\, a Broadway World Award\, and a Nightlife Award. His off-Broadway hit I’m a Stranger Here Myself earned Drama Desk and Helpmann nominations. Nadler has performed at Carnegie Hall\, Lincoln Center\, and with symphonies across the U.S. His shows include American Rhapsody\, Crazy 1961\, Tschaikowsky (and Other Russians)\, and many collaborations with KT Sullivan. A cabaret staple in New York and abroad\, he’s recorded numerous albums and starred in regional and Broadway productions. More at www.MarkNadler.com. \n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

SUMMARY:Harvey Granat Sings Fred Astaire
DESCRIPTION:$49 per ticket\nLunch Box Matinee: Lunch at 12pm | Show at 1pm\n\nAstaire introduced more songs into the Great American Songbook than any other singer. Our greatest songwriters: Gershwin\, Berlin\, Porter\, Kern\, and others\, loved his pure delivery of their music and lyrics and wrote songs especially for him to sing. Believe it or not\, he was the first to sing: “Night and Day”\, “Lovely to Look At”\, “Cheek to Cheek”\, “The Way You Look Tonight”\, “A Foggy Day”\, “I Won’t Dance”\, “They Can’t Take That Away From Me”\, “One for My Baby” and more. Come hear live performances of these\, and many others\, along with inside stories about Astaire and some special videos of other great singers who have covered these Astaire songs. \n \nAbout Harvey Granat: \nHarvey performs at many supper clubs\, resorts and cultural venues including his very popular American Composer Series at the 92nd Street Y\, his American Songbook Series at Florida Atlantic University\, Lincoln Center Library for the Performing Arts\, McCallum Theater in Palm Springs\, multiple engagements at Feinstein’s at the Regency\, The Metropolitan Room in NY\, Birdland and Canyon Ranch Resort where he appears every other week and has done over 300 shows. He has performed at private functions including at The Norton Museum in West Palm Beach\, The Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Miami and several of the largest libraries and synagogues in the New York area.\n\nHis shows are unique in that they typically focus on a composer and/or lyricist\, combining his singing of their songs with fascinating “inside” stories of their lives\, films and shows. Many of these stories come from his  collection of original letters written by these greats of American music including Gershwin\, Berlin\, Porter\, Rodgers\, Kern and Cahn among others.

SUMMARY:SOMETHING ROTTEN
DESCRIPTION:Individual Tickets Starting at $55\nSUBSCRIBERS $139 | PATRON $169 | PERSONAL ANGEL $209 | ARCHANGEL $239. SUBSCRIPTIONS AVAILABLE HERE.\n\n \nTwo brothers set out to write the world’s first musical in this hilarious mash-up of sixteenth-century Shakespeare and twenty-first-century Broadway.\nWelcome to the Renaissance and the outrageous\, crowd-pleasing musical farce\, SOMETHING ROTTEN. Created by Grammy Award-winning songwriter Wayne Kirkpatrick\, and screenwriters Karey Kirkpatrick and John O’Farrell\, SOMETHING ROTTEN was lauded by audience members and critics alike\, receiving several Best Musical nominations and hailed by Time Out New York as “the funniest musical comedy in at least 400 years”. \nSet in the 1590s\, brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom are desperate to write a hit play but are stuck in the shadow of that Renaissance rock star known as “The Bard.” When a local soothsayer foretells that the future of theatre involves singing\, dancing and acting at the same time\, Nick and Nigel set out to write the world’s very first musical. But amidst the scandalous excitement of opening night\, the Bottom Brothers realize that reaching the top means being true to thine own self\, and all that jazz! \n  \n” Absolutely Brilliant.” – New York Theatre Guide  \n“A big\, brash meta-musical… loaded with crowd-pleasing showstoppers and an infectious love of musical theater.” – The Hollywood Reporter
