One guitarist growing up in the Mississippi Delta in 1969, listening to them on the only radio station that played their music, would practice along with their songs, trying to understand how they developed their wholly unique combination of rock, blues, jazz and Texas Swing. Each musician in the band has their own memory of how the Allman Brothers Band played a part in the development of their interest in music. The bond that has developed from many hours of rehearsal is obvious in their performance of each song!
