BARCLAY Performing Arts and the Playhouse Arts Academy is ECSTATIC to be bringing back another production delayed by the pandemic. It’s Ms. Christine’s favorite show, so “put on a happy face” for BYE BYE BIRDIE at the Delray Beach Playhouse! This story is a loving send-up of the 1950s, set in small-town America. Teen heartthrob Conrad Birdie has been drafted, so he chooses All-American girl Kim MacAfee for a very public farewell kiss. “A superbly stylish throwback to the 1950s! Genuine fun, fizz and frenzy… total silliness.”
