Sibling Harmony: The Everly Brothers’ Story and Songs
March 17 @ 2:00 pm
Event Navigation
Like most people in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, Ike Everly and his brothers toiled in coal mines, but in their little free time, they played music together, singing at the top of their challenged lungs. When Ike and Margaret’s sons came along, first Don and then Phil, they grew up surrounded by the family jam sessions, and by the ages of 8 and 6, they were singing with their parents on live radio.
Hear the complete story with slides, and sing along to Don and Phil’s exquisite harmony hits, beginning with their smash hit as teenagers, “Bye Bye Love.”
