Learn about pop, folk-rock, and rock artists of the 60s and 70s whose songs had messages associated with various issues of the time, sometimes unintended, at the PinkSlip Duo’s presentation of POP MUSIC’S BEST PROTEST SONGS OF THE 60s AND 70s. Based on lists by Rolling Stone Magazine and other sources, the PinkSlip Duo will discuss and sing songs by Bob Dylan, the Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel, Crosby-Stills-Nash and Young, Buffalo Springfield, Janis Ian, Buffy St. Marie, Country Joe MacDonald, Dolly Parton, Barry McGuire, Phil Ochs, Marvin Gaye, Helen Reddy and others.

As always, their stories include nostalgic slides and their songs include projected lyrics, so you can sing along.
