Laura Yanez presents a captivating tribute to Cole Porter, blending his timeless music with stories from his extraordinary life and career—including his famously mischievous wit and decadent lifestyle. Featuring classics like Begin the Beguine, So in Love, Anything Goes, and Night and Day, the show highlights Porter’s genius through songs and shows including Anything Goes, Kiss Me, Kate, and High Society. 

Yanez explores the highs and lows of Porter’s journey—from his midwestern upbringing to his reign as one of Broadway and Hollywood’s greatest composers—while celebrating the playful, risqué spirit that made his lyrics as tantalizing as they were sophisticated. Bringing his sophisticated melodies and clever lyrics to life, Yanez delivers an unforgettable evening of music and storytelling!

About Laura Yanez: 
Laura Yanez has been delighting audiences around the world with her lovely soprano for the last 15 years. Born in Hawaii into a Marine Corps family, Laura is no stranger to traveling the world.
Laura spent three years touring America and Canada as the lead singer of the Irish Phenomenon “Riverdance”. Performing everywhere from Los Angeles to Radio City Music Hall in New York City.  Other credits include the first National Tour of A Year with Frog and Toad and Lead Singer of Emerald Beat and Irish Thunder
​at Busch Gardens Williamsburg and Tampa. Laura has traveled around the world singing aboard Holland America ships. She is also a proud supporter of Make a Wish Foundation in America and The Hope Foundation in Ireland. Laura also works as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the academic and medical settings in South Florida.
