FALL 2024 SEMESTER AT THE PLAYHOUSE ARTS ACADEMY

IMPORTANT DATES: 

The Fall 2024 Semester Runs August 26th – the week of December 9th.

No Classes: Thanksgiving Week (November 25-29th, 2024)

Final showcases take place during the last day of class during said class time.

BROADWAY SHOW PROGRAM: FROZEN JR! (Ages 7-16) *Advanced Level*

PREREQUISITE: IN ORDER TO BE A PART OF OUR BROADWAY PROGRAM, YOUR CHILD MUST HAVE PRIOR SHOW EXPERIENCE OR HAVE TAKEN OUR MUSICAL THEATER KIDS CLASS.

Get ready to shine bright like a star with our Fall Broadway Show Program, a follow-up to our smash hit Broadway Camp that’ll have you owning the stage all season long! Be a part of a Disney favorite, FROZEN JR THE MUSICAL! The enchanting modern classic from Disney is ready for your Broadway Junior stars! Frozen JR. is based on the 2018 Broadway musical, and brings Elsa, Anna, and the magical land of Arendelle to life, onstage. A story of true love and acceptance between sisters, Frozen JR. expands upon the emotional relationship and journey between Princesses Anna and Elsa. When faced with danger, the two discover their hidden potential and the powerful bond of sisterhood. With a cast of beloved characters and loaded with magic, adventure, and plenty of humor, Frozen JR. is sure to thaw even the coldest heart!

A $99 deposit is required to secure your child’s spot in our Broadway Kids & Teens Show Program. This deposit is your commitment to the entire semester, tech rehearsals and shows. It is non-refundable and goes towards your tuition. 

MUSICAL THEATRE KIDS! (Ages 7-13)

Is your child passionate about singing, dancing, and acting? Our Musical Theater Kids class focuses on unleashing their inner star! With a comprehensive curriculum, children will excel in acting, music, and movement. They will explore theater techniques, musical pieces, and dynamic choreography to boost their confidence and talents for stage performance. If your little one is eager to become a “triple-threat” performer, this is the ideal opportunity to begin!

FUN CAMP ALL-STARS! (Ages 7-12)
A continuation of Summer Fun Camp! 

Join us for a fun and exciting Theatre class where you can become a Fun Camp All-Star! This class is perfect for beginners, ages 7-12, who want to learn the basics of acting and performance while having a blast with theatre games, arts and crafts, and performance workshops. Throughout the semester, students will have the opportunity to showcase their skills in a sharing for family and friends every 5 weeks. Whether it’s a simple skit, a dance routine, or a creative project, the focus is on having fun and building a love for Theatre. Come be a part of our Fun Camp All-Stars class and let your creativity shine on stage!
